The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) is the largest public multidisciplinary research organisation in France. For this particular project CNRS will concern researchers/engineers from 7 UMR and 1 UMS geographically distributed in 7 institutes: University of Paris 6, Paris Observatory, Bordeaux Observatory, Grenoble Observatory, Reims University and Toulouse Observatory.
